The procedures to create a custom fine-art portrait are as follows:
The process begins with a telephone or email conversation during which preliminary questions are addressed. These include:
How many people / who is to be included in the portrait?
How large will the painting be?
How much will it cost?
What's an acceptable time commitment for the subject?
A selection of photographs, depicting the subject's character, are sent to the artist and used to paint the portrait.
A 50% up front deposit is required to begin the portrait with the balance paid on completion.
